STUDENT CLUBS


FCRI has various clubs namely viz., Mess, Sports, Nature, Debate, Cultural, Literary, Hostel, Sylvas, Fine arts, ICT/photography, Health and Hygiene and Birds Watching clubs. The main motto of these clubs is to encourage the students in all activities which helps them to improve their skills and also in enriching the quality of taking responsibilities and standing of them.


College life is the time during which students stay away from the home most of the time. So clubs promotes a sense of connection and togetherness of people having common interests.

Saucer Pits for Birds

To provide water to the Birds in the Summer, the club students placed saucer pits in the Telangana State Forest Academy.


Go green Ganesha

The main motto of the event is to bring awareness among the people to avoid use of Plaster of Paris Idols and to bring out the innovative thoughts of the students. The participation is conducted between houses and provided time to make Eco-Friendly Ganesha with their innovative and creative themes.

World Ozone Day 2019

A seminar was conducted to observe the World Ozone day to remind the signing of the Montreal Protocol on substances that depletes the Ozone Layer. The theme for this year '32 years and Healing'. The club organized two minutes pep talk on the importance of Ozone and the history related to World Ozone day.

Bird Watching

A Bird walk was organized for the 2019 batch in the Telangana Forest Academy to make the students aware of the different birds present the area and their role and importance in our life.


Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations

On the occasion of Srikrishnastami the club conducted pot hitting programme (uttikotadam ).


Bathukamma Celebrations

Bathukamma represents cultural spirit of Telangana. The Bathukamma in FCRI Hyderabad celebrated for nine days during Navratri.

Quiz Competition

A quiz competition with four rounds was conducted among the four Houses of FCRI. Questions on Sports, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Films, Environment, Forestry and on Telangana were asked to the participants.


Rangoli competition

Rangoli Competition was held among four houses with eight participants each. The theme of the Rangoli Competition was Lord Krishna as to symbolize Krishnastami. Judgment was given based on the Theme, Colour combination, Cleanliness, Finishing.


Telangana language day celebrations

On the occasion of Kaloji Narayan Rao’s 100th birthday, “Telangana language day” was celebrated. He was a renowed writer and poet of Telangana. Kaloji’s na godava is most famous among all the writings. Activities conducted were Conversion of English words to Telugu Words and their meanings, Dictation of Telugu words, Extempore, Tongue twister. The main motto of this programme was to highlight the importance of Telugu but also encourage Telugu speaking along with other languages.


Hostel

FCRI Hyderabad has excellent hostel facilities and infrastructure within the campus that make students feel comfortable at home.


Selfie with Swachh Bharat

A make the fresher's feel energetic, the ICT club conducted Selfie with Swachh Bharat. The students were asked to take a selfie of them while participating Swachh Bharat. Terms and Conditions were given like no filters are to be used, No cropping of pictures, No paranoma pictures, No editing, To send images only through mail and most important it should be a selfie. The event motto was to bring awareness on Swachh Bharat.


Mess @FCRI Hyderabad

In FCRI Hyderabad men and women hostels are porposed with a common dining facility at Student mess.


World Yoga Day

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the club in association with TSFA organized yoga session at 6 AM to all the students and faculty. Dr. Srinivas, Homoeopathist came as a Yoga Instructor to the event.

Telangana Formation Day

FCRI observed the Telangana Formation day. Flag hosting was done. Both the Faculties and Students spoke on the occasion.


Fresher's party

The Senior of the FCRI welcomed their juniors by organizing the fresher's party. Singing, Dancing, Skit, Ramp Walking and Games were conducted to the fresher's. The event started by an inauguration function with Chief Guest Dr. K. Tirupathaiah, Rtd. PCCF and Dy. Director of TSFA.
